US debates military strikes on 'nuclear Iran'

The world has gone insane... well fine, it's always been insane, but you would think it would get better to some degree. It often seems that the only thing that improves is our capacity to exterminate ourselves. Fine.

Who would ever be malicious enough to use a nuke anyway? Us. So it only stands to reason that only we and our allies should be allowed to have them right? It makes perfect sense, especially to the rest of the world. They rest even easier knowing that we would never impose our will on sovereign nations with... uh... bombs. What could possibly possess these barbarians to pursue nuclear weapons? The North Koreans are probably sitting way over there thinking, "If we don't build some nukes we're all going to be speaking english someday." Paranoid freaks.

And yes, all this means that I think every country on earth should possess nuclear weapons, and lots of 'em. Fine.
