And Free-Dumb for ALL... This means you

Iraq's first human rights minister says Bremer knew of 'abuse'

Yeah, he says that he told him... repeatedly... Before he resigned a month ago. Maybe he's disgruntled, but Rummy and the rest of the oligarchy have already admitted that they knew about in january, so...

What's happening? More importantly, what's been happening? Did it stop four months ago? Did anybody get court-martialed? I may have missed it, but I didn't hear Rummy say anything like that in his testimony. Is there a point here? Ah, yes the party line, which is a complete skirting of the issue anyway, is that the 'system' is policing and correcting itself, and has been since january. Really? If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but it really seems that there are certain stimulants to this 'system.'

The mind-boggling stupidity is almost too much to take. To have such a shoddy diplomacy plan based on shoddy intelligence, followed by a shoddy war plan, followed by an even more shoddy occupation and rebuilding plan. Now there's 'abuse' of the freed peoples and it sure looks like it has been handled... One more time for the world!.. shoddily.

All moral convictions aside. What do you think about competency? Yeah or Nay?

And we're supposed to soak it all in, eyes wide shut. What am I missing? When did debate and discussion become unamerican? When did admitting a mistake and fixing it become dishonorable? It's not even about ethics or political persuasion anymore, it's about common sense and decency. What would Jesus do Brother Bush?
